About District 19

Missouri State SEnate District 19

Learn About Missouri's State Senate District 19

The District

After the 2022 redistricting process the 19th Senate district now, for the first time, is made up solely of Boone County.

Including the communities of Ashland, Centralia, Columbia, Hallsville, Harrisburg, Hartsburg, Rocheport and Sturgeon the County had a 2021 Population of 185,840 people.

In 2016 while running for State Senate in the old 19th District Stephen Webber defeated Caleb Rowden in Boone County, losing the race due to the margin of the then attached staunchly Republican Cooper County. Due to term limits the 19th Senate District will have no incumbent (open) running in 2024.

Not only does Stephen have a strong understanding of the biggest issues we face as a County, he also has the necessary knowledge and experience of working in the Missouri Legislature to move these solutions forward.

I’m thrilled he’s running to be our next State Senator and I am proud to endorse him.”

- Presiding Commissioner of Boone County Kip Kendrick
